Our training contracts are open to all graduates, no matter what course you studied at university.
Once you've graduated, however, you'll need to complete the Legal Practice Course (LPC) before you join us. If you have a degree in a subject other than law, you'll need to take the Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) as well.
These two years are vitally important and, because you’ll be based nearby, you will have access and contact with the firm, preparing you for what’s to come.
If you have studied a non-law degree, you will need to complete the Graduate Diploma in Law after you graduate and before you undertake the LPC.
The GDL is an important year before you start your LPC and we therefore require our future trainees to study the GDL at BPP Law School in London.
We will pay your law school fees and provide you with a maintenance grant of £7,000. Please note, it is our policy not to reimburse law school fees retrospectively.
We require our future trainees, both those joining London and Bristol, to study the Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School in London.
The LPC is an important year before you start your training contract and, being based in London, you will benefit from closer access to the firm during this period.
You’ll also start our structured Trainee Skills Academy during the LPC, helping you to hit the ground running when you begin your training contract. As part of our Trainee Skills Academy, there’s also the option of further study after the LPC to achieve a MA (LPC with Business) qualification, if you want to extend yourself further.
We’ll pay your law school fees and provide you with a maintenance grant of £7,500. Please note, it is our policy not to reimburse law school fees retrospectively.
